What We Do

Germs! Germs! Germs! Everybody’s worried about germs these days…and for good reason, there are more dangerous germs showing up than there ever were before. Just when we think that we have a handle on them, another appears or an old one mutates into something even more dangerous. This is especially troubling for the very young and the elderly. Good hygiene is an important first step, but we know that it’s not enough. We have to do everything we can on every front to protect our health…everything that’s practical and affordable, of course. There are plenty of products out there that claim to kill germs and protect, but we know that those claims are mostly just creative marketing, and are not as effective as they claim. Does that Lysol or Home Depot branded disinfectant/cleaner really kill 99.99% of germs? We know better! Common sense tells us, that as with most things, when you’re dealing with biological agents, you cannot put truly effective compounds in the hands of laymen and expect the standards and protocols to be followed to the degree necessary to ensure the desired result. Simply put, the Lysol may kill germs under laboratory conditions, but in the real world is it being applied properly? So, we actually have 2 concerns here, the efficacy of the products and consistent and accurate application of those products to ensure maximum beneficial results. Simply said: do the products actually work and if they do are they being applied properly consistently? Bio-One is the expert in the application of disinfectant and microbial products…and our products work!

A home, office, school, bus, etc., may be cleaned, but that is not disinfected. No matter how proficient the cleaner is, he or she is still missing many areas of the facility or vehicle that could harbor germs or potential pathogens. That’s where we come in! Using our state of the art electrostatic technology, we can attain 100% coverage of the facility or the vehicle interior and trunk including all dashboard components without worry. Sensitive electronics need not worry…this technology is used in commercial airplane cockpits!
The same electrostatic technology allows us to apply our proprietary persistent antimicrobial coating which after application, continues to protect against germs, viruses and mold for up to 1 year!
Additionally, Federal regulations deem all bodily fluids to be biohazards, so any blood or tissue at a crime scene is considered a potential source of infection/contamination. You need special knowledge, equipment and procedures to safely handle and disinfect BioHazard contaminated material and to know what to look for at the scene. A perfect example relates to blood stains – if there’s a thumbnail-size bloodstain on the carpet, there’s a good chance that there’s a 2-foot-diameter bloodstain on the padding and floorboards beneath it. You can’t just clean the carpet with household type cleaners and be confident that the contamination has been neutralized. Additionally, permits are required (varies from state to state) to transport and dispose of BioHazard contaminated waste. Bio-One has all of the necessary permits, training, knowledge and equipment to handle this material properly and protect the client and public at large from the BioHazard contaminated waste that is disinfected and removed from crime, suicide, blood and death scene cleanups.
Bio-One employs trained technicians to take care of these situations for you. Most of our staff has a background in the military, police, fire, or medical field, such as former/present EMT’s or nurses. Regardless of background, all Crime, Suicide, Blood and Death Scene Technicians are highly trained and perform their work in an efficient and professional manner.

We Support Law Enforcement and Active Military!

We at Bio-One understand the tremendous sacrifice our brothers and sisters in law enforcement or the military make for us everyday, having family members and friends on the front lines…and support them in whatever way we can. We have the following policy:

If one of the tragedies that we deal with everyday befalls the immediate family of a member of law enforcement or active military and there is no insurance, available funds or public assistance we will perform the cleanup for whatever funds are available…or if none are available…free of charge. That’s it, no other qualifications.
